Evangelical Youth Climate Initiative and the Evangelical Climate Initiative and Cooling Creation -- We're working with the Evangelical Environmental Network to organize young Christ followers around the climate change.  The EYCI is a follow up to the ECI statement by many Christian leaders, including Bill Hybels, Brian McLaren, and Rick Warren.  Cooling Creation is a simple way you can pledge specific actions you will take to cut down your impact on climate change.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change: Special Report on the Regional Impacts of Climate Change -- An excellent, if scary, study on what we might be able to expect from global warming and climate change.  North American impacts range from severe droughts and flooding to "drying of prairie pothole wetlands that currently support over 50% of all waterfowl in North America."

Climate Change Impacts on the United States: The Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change -- Big study.  Big words.  Big worries.  Sees humans as being able to adapt quite well, but paints a tragic picture for almost all ecosystems.  Think, 'coral reef die-off and disappearing forests & mangroves.'
