Consistent with our commitment to the speaking out for endangered
wildlife, natural habitats, and threatened cultures, we at Restoring
Eden believe that global climate change is something which must be
addressed quickly. The facts are conclusive – humankind’s burning of
fossil fuels has been a key contributor to climate change in the past
150 years. We believe that urgent action must be taken to cut our
meddling in God’s providential systems.
The time to act is now.
That’s why Restoring Eden is excited to partner with the Evangelical Environmental Network on the Evangelical Youth Climate Initiative, a declaration by the next generation of Christ followers telling our elected and faith leaders that climate change is a moral and biblical crisis that demands action. It's a follow-up to the Evangelical Climate Initiative, a document signed by over 85 evangelical leaders, including Rick Warren, Brian McLaren, and Bill Hybels.
