Tim Stevens – President of the Restoring Eden Board; Livingston, MT

Tim is currently with the National Parks Conservation Association. Prior to that Tim spent years with Greater Yellowstone Alliance, and as a college organizer for National Wildlife Federation. Tim attends a Vineyard church in Bozeman MT where he started Montana’s’ first Christian environmental club and served one-term as a city commissioner in Livingston, MT.

Lafcadio Cortesi – Vice President; San Francisco, CA

Lafcadio is a key member of Forest Ethics boreal forest campaign in San Francisco, CA. Prior to this, Lafcadio was with Greenpeace South Pacific where he and Peter Illyn worked together with Christian tribes on issues related to environmental stewardship and sustainable development in Papua New Guinea. 

Micah Steinhilb – Secretary/Treasurer; Portland, OR

Micah was a leader in the church relations department for Equal Exchange Coffee Company working on issues of fair trade, justice, and environmental stewardship in third world countries. Micah is also a former Lutheran campus environmental club leader and is now enrolled in Lewis and Clark Law School.

Barbara Ketchem, PhD; Portland, OR

Dr. Ketchem is a practicing Christian psychologist, and founding board member of Christians for Environmental Stewardship. She attended Wheaton College and Rosemead College in Biola University. She specializes in counseling work with females aged 15 to 30 and attends a Presbytarian church with her family.

H. Scott Althouse, Esq.; Bainbridge Island, WA

Scott is the former director of the Evangelical Environmental Network and has a history of grassroots activism and involvement with numerous Christian environmental efforts.  A graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School, Scott served as in-house counsel to the Nez Perce Tribe in north-central Idaho from 2002-2005.  Scott now is in private practice with Williams & Works, PA, a full service Indian law firm, where Scott specializes in environmental issues and sacred site protection. 

Mike Nacrelli, Environmental Engineer; Portland, OR

Mike is an environmental engineer specializing in wastewater and surface water management.  He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he first became involved in environmental activism.  Mike has been active with Restoring Eden since 1997.  He is a member of Imago Dei Community Church in Portland,OR.

Ann Alexander, Environmental Attorney; Chicago, IL

Ann has been active with Christian environmentalism at a national level for the past ten years. She was the former President of the Christian Environmental Council, and is now an environmental attorney for the Attorney General of Illinois. Ann has studied and authored white-papers on Christianity and Takings legislation.

 
Dean Ohlman, Writer & Filmmaker; Grand Rapids, MI

Dean is a former professor at Cornerstone University, and is now a Christian environmental writer and filmmaker for the RBC Ministries. He has produced a series of films that have played on PAX Network called Celebrating the Wonder of Creation authored numerous booklets under the same title.

 
Celeste Howe, Community Recycling Coordinator; HI

Celeste was the head of Recycling for Point Loma Nazarene University. Following a study abroad program in New Zealand, Celeste became instrumental in getting campus-wide environmental awareness with recycling, ecological landscaping, building energy conservation, and the annual Creation Week, where Peter was chapel speaker.

 
Sherlyn Burnham, Teacher; Tampa Bay, FL

Sherlyn recently got her Master of Divinity from Palm Beach Atlantic University.  While there, she also worked in Campus Ministries leading the Restoring Eden campus club. Sherlyn took a group of students to Alaska with Restoring Eden on a service project and also came to a Rescue God’s Creation lobby week in Washington DC.
